Sabrina Barton

My journey began growing up in a household of narcissistic tendencies, cycles of shame, and gas lighting.

Turns out, when parents yell at you and shame you, you don't hate them; You hate yourself.

 

Breaking free of my struggle with self-harming coping strategies, I was left with options of numbing out or repeating shame cycles. Until I found breathwork. 

Breathwork quite literally breathed life back into my soul and self-image. 

Instead of an escape and outlet for my fear, anger and sadness, art became meaningful again. It was fun and playful. 

Through these breathwork and reincorporating the love I have always had for art, I found something I hadn't known before. I was always worthy. Always whole. And I wasn't a burden. Even if the outside world tried convincing me otherwise. 

So here I am reclaiming my wholeness and showing you how to do the same.
